alright, so here we go. kinda weird being back here at livejournal, but i've been running out of things to do on the internet, so here i am.

basically since i stopped posting, life happened, so things happened, and some of those things have actually been fun/funny/strange/incredibly weird... so i figured i should, you know, share or something.

so, i'm sure you are asking yourself, what odd thing happened today? well, i'll tell you.

i went to check my bank account, which has been negative $275.06 since the first of december, and something was a wee bit off... i was now $274.06 in the hole... one dollar less in debt. did i put a dollar in my account? no. did my parents put a dollar in my account? no. did santa put a dollar in my account? no. so i click on this fun feature that allows you to see a scanned version of your deposit slip online. i click it. i see it. it's there. it exists. there's my name, there's the amount of one dollar, there's my account number. is it my handwriting? no. did i write it? pretty sure i didn't. it looks like the scribble of a teenage girl. (i might look 15, but i assure you, i'm 24)

this raises a few questions...
A) who did this?? B) how'd they get my account number?? C) why did they deposit one dollar, of all amounts??

case and point, i fully intend on calling my bank tomorrow and get nancy drew on their asses.

on to entertainment!

i've been super broke lately. i could blame the economy, but i'm better off blaming my expensive drinking/smoking/always eating out habit. point is, my cable got cut off some time ago so i have no tv and have been stealing internet. when i don't have cable, i find myself at north campus video nearly every day, usually renting 1 movie and 1 tv show and talking to adrian and the others who work there for awhile.

this past week i have rented the duchess and savage grace.
the duchess: set in the 1700s, about a young girl with some spunk who marries not for love but for status (played by kiera knightly (i'm sure i mispelled her name, i do not care, i'm not opening another tap to google it))
pros(for girls): pretty good love story which is based on a true story, elaborate costumes, always nice to see a real woman figure in history who "marches to her own drum", if you will.
pros(for dudes): kiera knightly side boob, a scene with kinda sorta lesbo action, and, well, kiera knightly.

savage grace: all i'm going to say is, that movie is fucked up, but it was really good, with a twist i never saw coming. also based on a true story. and honestly, julianne moore never disappoints.

as far as music goes, my super favorite songs of the month are:

passion pit - sleepyhead
a place to bury strangers - i know i'll see you
bootleggers - everything i do
glasvegas - geraldine
college - teenage color
chairlift - bruises
clap your hands and say yeah - the skin of my yellow country teeth
kings of leon - crawl
the welcome wagon - half a person
cut copy - hearts on fire
pnau FEAT. ladyhawke - embrace

okay, back to reality.
i have class tomorrow. photo history 695.
it's taught by the head of the photo department, we have class monday and wednesday for 2.5 hours, a lecture at the wexner every other tuesday, 2 exams, a photo project, a 10 page research paper, and if you miss over 5 classes (excused or not), you fail.

on that note, goodnight!
